GI Journal of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences follows the authorship recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, manuscript drafting, or critical revision of the work. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission and publication. Individuals who contributed partially but do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately. Gift, honorary, or ghost authorship is unacceptable. Any change in authorship after submission requires written consent from all authors and approval from the editorial office.
